K-12 Directory of Schools Blog announces the fifth and final winner of the Free Zhu Zhu Pet Giveaway Contest! We ran this contest throughout the 2009 Holiday season, giving parents the opportunity to win a FREE Zhu Zhu Pet, the toy craze of the 2009 Holiday season.

Here’s the fifth winner’s story:

My own children are too old to be interested in a zhuzhu pet.  But as an educator in a Title 1 District, I know many needy and deserving children.  I would give this gift to a 10 year old girl who just lost her home and belongings to a fire.

The K-12 Directory of Schools Blog is grateful for this giving teacher that is looking out for the well-being of a student in hard times. We hope her student’s new Zhu Zhu Pet will make her difficult times just a little more bearable.
